Israeli voters cast ballots in a pivotal election, with exit polls indicating no clear winner. The results suggest a deadlock between the opposition bloc and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's camp. Neither side has secured an outright majority in the 120-seat Knesset.
Exit polls show the opposition bloc holds a slight edge, projected to win 52 or 53 seats, compared to Netanyahu's bloc with 50 seats. Despite this narrow lead, neither side has achieved a majority. High voter turnout was noted, particularly among Israeli Arab parties, which are expected to secure 17 or 18 seats.
This election is widely regarded as the most consequential in Israel's history. Voter turnout reached a record 74 percent, with millions participating in the polls. Netanyahu, facing political pressure, is fighting for his survival as the results remain uncertain. The outcome will determine the country's political direction for years to come.
