A Polish man with far-right views drove into Krakow's Main Square on Saturday and opened fire, killing six people and injuring 15 others. Police shot and wounded the attacker before he could escape. The incident occurred in the heart of the city's main market area, a popular tourist destination.

The suspect, identified as a local resident, was apprehended at the scene. Authorities confirmed he had expressed ultranationalistic views. Police later raided his home and found three additional bodies, believed to be his family members. The attack, which took place in the early afternoon, caused widespread panic among pedestrians and nearby businesses.

This is the second major shooting in Krakow this year. In March, a similar incident occurred at a different location, resulting in three deaths. The current attack has prompted increased security measures across the city. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk described the shooting as an act of terrorism. Investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of the attacker's motives and connections.
